COMPANY HISTORY
Infowhiz (IZ), established in 2002, started as a VERITAS Premier Partner focusing in Symantec data protection suite of solutions (Backup Exec, NetBackup etc). Our mission was to promote a complete automated backup consolidation, while educating and promoting the best practice in data protection and storage management. In the early of 20th century, a lot of customers had been gaining awareness on the benefits of disaster recovery with automated backup solutions.



In the year of 2004 and 2006, we were being awarded with VERITAS Professional Services Partner (PSP) status, in which our technical team was the extended services arm of VERITAS Professional Service department. In year 2007, we have further completed our solutions to include hardware to compliment the Symantec Software. We have partnered with Hitachi Data Systems (HDS), Diligent Technologies, VMWARE to provide complete solutions for our customers. Furthermore, with the merger of VERITAS and Symantec, we have also built up the expertise for network security solutions. As for our consulting services, our standard delivery includes design and architect, technical implementation, knowledge transfer, customized documentation for all solutions we represent. Apart from these, we acknowledge that every customer environment is unique, and we offer services to tailor-made scripts for cluster and backup solutions. For self-sufficient operation, customers can opt to attend a list of training courses we provide. Currently, we have offered certified training for Symantec Security and Data availability solutions. Other products courses could be arranged upon request. For customers who need on-site assistance, we offer our on-site support based on incident-based, contract based as well as ad-hoc basis. Response time on-site ranges from 2 to 4 hours. Our incident-based on-site support can be tailored to suit each customer requirement.
